I know the vampires mod from the Chtulu series would do this when a vamp entered the map on the border of my screen and would dig a hole there to protect himself from sunlight.the game can't handle that because (in about a 3 cell radius) that region is used to vacate "guests" from the map.so the game WANTS to vacate the vamp but can't because the hole is an immovable object.causing an issue with the game targetting the vamp but not being able to vacate the hole. Especially look for wokshop mods that advise you to start a new game after installing them. Most likely? I suspect something changed in one of your mods that is causing corruption in your current save. You might want to look into any mod that got updated recently and is NOW (because of loading a game with updated mods) is causing artifact issues or got changes to particle density. This doesn't sound bad but when you have a builder building, cook cooking, and crafters crafting it eventually turns my game into a slideshow. Ironically this manifests in a strange way.the game will run fine but as soon as any project reaches it's final tick of progression I get maybe 3ms of lag.
